We recently discovered that bad file names can corrupt an ePortfolio page and prevent the user from editing the page. You can avoid this problem by not including special characters such as ( @!#$%^&*) in your file names, and ensuring each file has a proper extension (ex: .doc). A good rule of thumb to follow is if Microsoft Word does not accept the file name, than neither will ePortfolio. This applies to files in the “Files” section as well.
If you are experiencing this problem, you can correct it by simply editing your file name.
